Farm to GlassGourmand
I’m not sure about you, but I’ve had my fill of winter. As we head into March this weekend, my mind is focused on spring and the return of our beloved farmers markets. I love wandering through the various stalls – from fresh produce to bouquets of wild flowers, it’s a feast for the senses.
Having just returned from a trip to Southeast Asia, I can really value the use of fresh ingredients – both on the plate and in the glass. On March 15, join Mass Farmers Market and Edible Boston for Farm to Glass, a Mixology Throwdown. Greater Boston mixologists will prepare cocktails using local farm-fresh ingredients. Guests will vote and the top three mixologists will then compete in a mystery CSA challenge. Participating mixologists include Kevin Mabry of JM Curley, Vikram Hegde of Sarma, and Young Won of Rialto.
