About Us

The Boston Day Book is an online collection of our favorite things to see, eat, and do. We feature a behind-the-scenes look into the people and places that make this city spin.

Natalie Chassaigne Kurtzman, Editor
Born and raised in the Greater Boston area, Natalie’s favorite pastimes include wandering the cobblestone streets of Beacon Hill, sitting beneath the willow trees in the Public Garden, and of course meeting new people. In addition to The Boston Day Book, you can find Natalie working behind the scenes (and trying new lip colors) at Follain and sharing travel adventures at wishful nals. She lives in South Boston with her husband, cat, and friendly Portuguese Water Dog, Weber. Connect with Natalie on TwitterInstagram, or by email.

Laura Chassaigne, Editor
After spending her early years in Boston, Laura moved abroad and has lived in Montreal, London, and Paris. She has finally found her way home, and is having a blast getting to know Boston again. From the home she shares with husband at the top of Beacon Hill, Laura enjoys discovering the neighborhoods that make Boston great, strolling the waterfront, and exploring the city’s museums. Laura is currently writing her PhD dissertation on Palaeolithic symbolic behavior, and recently graduated yoga teacher training at Kripalu. She occasionally blogs about travel, recipes, and other eclectic musings at city in the ciel. Connect with Laura on TwitterInstagram, or by email.
